Location: Porto, Portugal (On-site or Remote)

Duration: 6 Months (Beginning of March 2025 until the end of August 2025)

About Us:

We are a dynamic team building a scalable backend system using Node.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, MongoDB, Google Cloud, and Kubernetes. We are looking for a motivated individual to join us as a Backend Developer Intern.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain GraphQL APIs using Node.js and TypeScript
  • Manage and optimize the MongoDB database
  • Work with Google Cloud and Kubernetes for deployment and service management
  • Optimize system performance and scalability
  • Collaborate closely with the frontend team to provide efficient APIs

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with Node.js and TypeScript
  • Basic understanding of GraphQL
  • Initial knowledge of MongoDB and NoSQL database concepts
  • Passion for learning and ability to work in a team

Nice to Have (Preferred but Not Required):

  • Experience with Google Cloud and cloud services
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and related tools
  • Understanding of microservices architecture
